Synopsis:

"Battle Creek Brawl" is set in Chicago in the 1930's, where a youngster named Kuan Wen-Lung has adjusted easily to the American way of life, much to the distress of his traditionalist father. Adding to Wen-Lung's problems with his father are his disinterest in following in the footsteps of his doctor brother and his affection for his uncle who has been instructing Wen-Lung in Kung Fu. Least of Wen-Lung's interests is joining his father in the family restaurant. Lo Pao a Chicago Godfather sees in Wen-Lung a chance to win the upcoming no-holds barred fight set for a small town in Texas: The Battle Creek Brawl, in which contestants will be coming from all over the world. What Lo has on his mind is forcing Wen-Lung to enter the Battle Creek Brawl.

三十年代的美國，關仁和兩個兒子在華埠經營餐館事業，大子雲彪於當地開設醫務所，次子雲龍性好習武，常跑叔父醫館處學功夫。一天，雲龍與女友小蘭外出遊玩回來，見飛刀阿彭帶著手下向父親勒索，關仁無法付出金錢，阿彭將之毆打，龍大為憤怒還擊歹徒。阿彭之舅羅保為當地教父式人物，見阿彭辦事不力責之，羅保因無法找到適合人選參加德州殺手壕武術比賽而感煩惱，得知雲龍功夫了得，羅保使出詭計，迫使雲龍合作，出賽殺手壕比武大會……
