宋太祖被害死後，冤魂直上天庭告狀，呂洞賓(周潤發)等諸仙隨即下凡，助大遼起兵侵宋。楊家將奉命討伐遼兵，卻慘遭內奸暗算；領軍的七郎（梁朝偉）、四郎（苗僑偉）、五郎（黃日華）生死未卜及下落不明……

倖存的六郎（劉德華）受命再戰，困敗于呂洞賓的天門大陣下，二娘（商天娥）、六娘（劉嘉玲）、七娘（曾華倩）與楊家餘將聯袂抗擊眾仙，誓要破陣救出六郎……

After being murdered, the spirit of Emperor SUNG went to the Court of Heaven on appeal for justice. LUI TUNG BUN (Chow Yun Fat) and other deities came to the mortal world to help fight the Sung Empire for Liao. YANG’s family was appointed to suppress the Liao’s troop but defeated by hidden traitors. Commander TSAT LONG (Leung Chiu Wai), SEI LONG (Miu Kiu Wai) and NG LONG (Wong Yat Wa) were all found missing from the combat…
