Synopsis:
A pair of childhood friends Lin Ting Yi (Andy Lau) and Kuo (Cheung Kwok Keung) grew up to become an assassin and a police inspector. In order to solicit Lin Ting Yi’s help in drug trafficking, triad boss Yang Lung Hai set a trap for him. When they are busted by the police, Lin Ting Yi is convicted while Yang Lung Hai walks until a shot is fired…
犯罪集團頭目楊東海 (楊群 飾) 殺手兼得力助手林定一 (劉德華 飾) 與 高級督察阿國 (張國強 飾) 自幼 情同手足，同由豹叔 (董驃 飾) 撫養。林定一講原則拒絕涉 手毒品， 故楊東海 施計使林定一為其效力，更要求林 定一出面與華僑馮談判毒品生意。不料談判破裂，雙方發生鎗 戰，而林 定一亦被 警方通緝。同時阿國亦被陰險的石 警官向上司舉報指阿國在行動中放走林定一而被停職。經過輾 轉的追捕 後，楊東 海和林定一終落網，可是最後林定 一被判有罪；楊東海卻消遙法外，忽然鎗聲突響……
