Synopsis:

Country boy Lee Tong (Yuen Biao) has the knack of getting into trouble with great regularity. But this time, he has to beat it all the way to the city. And the first thing that happens to him in the city is to have his pocked picked. In chasing the thief, Lee meets young girl Fung (Moon Lee) and knocks out No. 1 ball player King (Dick Wei) by accident.

Fung and her brother Kido (Cheung Kwok Keung) take Lee in. The two boys decide to adopt soccer as their profession. The ball club owned by King employs Lee only because King wants to settle the score with the boy. Lee tong suffers all kinds of humiliations. Yet he presses on. Then King is bribed into throwing a game. He pretends to be injured and sends in inexperienced Lee Tong to make sure of the loss...

少年李堂(元彪 飾)因闖禍而逃出城市,被人偷去銀 包。幸被賣馬票少女亞鳳(李賽鳳 飾)發覺,李堂在奪回 銀包時,誤以西瓜擲向在足球圈極負盛名的波王金(狄威  飾),令金當街受辱。 亞鳳得悉李堂要找尋的親友是其亡 父,現只剩下她與哥哥小孫(張國強 飾)二人。此時小孫 剛巧回家,便邀李堂加入其足球隊。在亞鳳的鼓勵之下,李 堂、小孫決意考入龍華足球會。誰知球會老闆是波王金….
