Synopsis :

Sometime in the future…The world’s humans co- exist in a delicate balance with highly evolved “Creatures”-living beings who have taken on the physical form of humans and emulate human comportment. But in times of crisis, these creatures revert to their basic animal instincts… with corresponding beastlike behavior. The police are investigating a series of mysterious, gruesome deaths in which humans behave like exceptionally powerful beasts before internal combustion leads to their violent ends. The police suspect a creature- instigated conspiracy to destroy human life and take over the world…..

人類與妖獸的戰爭已進行了數千年，人類亦成立了特警 對付妖獸。妖獸分為兩派，一派融入人類社會，控制經濟命 脈，與人類共處；另一派則試圖消滅人類，稱霸世界。 市 面上出現了一種叫「快樂」的毒藥，控制人類思想，以毀滅 人類為目標。加山隊長計劃捉拿名義上是大集團董事長，實 際卻是妖獸的元大宗（仲代達矢　飾）。瀧蓮三郎（黎明　 飾）在三年前曾與美女妖獸幻姬（李嘉欣　飾）展開一段戀 情，無奈人鬼殊途，不得不放棄而遠走東京。此次回到香港 的阿瀧卻發現幻姬已成為元大宗的情婦。元大宗嚮往和平， 但他的兒子鬼眾道卻是個激進分子。 人類的命運繫於一 線，一場正義與邪惡之間的人獸大戰一觸即發！
