Synopsis:

Chinese police officer Cheung Po Shing (Alfred Cheung) is righteous and highly principled even though he has superpowers. He is ordered to track down a couple of criminals in Hong Kong, so he goes into town, and the Hong Kong Police assigned inspector Ming (To Siu Chun) to take care of him. Ming's reporter girlfriend Suki (Suki Kwan) decides to match this guy up with her sister (Teresa Mo). Ching's bizarre ways of crimefighting keeps embarrassing the Hong Kong Police, but when Suki gets taken by a gang of Mainland robbers as hostage in her search for a big scoop, it is up to Shing to save their face.

大陸公安張寶勝（張堅庭　飾）為人正直，身懷異能，一次被上級委任去香港捉拿一對偷槍悍匪。香港警方派出李少明（杜少津　飾）督察負責照顧勝起居，勝因此結識了明之女友Suki（關秀媚　飾）及其姊，人稱街市皇后的洪八妹（毛舜筠　飾）。任職電視台新聞記者的Suki有意撮合八妹與勝，但八妹生性好打不平，而勝則事事講求原則，二人格格不入，鬧出不少笑話。八妹之叔父洪金海（林蛟　飾）幫助勝四出打聽大圈幫消息，透過線人歐陽富（許紹雄　飾）終於有了眉目。勝以公安作風揉合黑道手法查案，弄得滿城風雨，明也被上司責難。Suki為求得到獨家新聞，竟遭悍匪擄去作人質，而線人歐陽富亦乘機混水摸魚，令場面一發不可收拾……
