Synopsis :

An old man lsao Nemoto has just retired after 40 years' work. When he was young, he just concentrated on his work; he neglected everything around him including his family. Now, he has retired, he feels bored as he has no hobbies, no hobbies, no interests, no friends and he could only stay home alone doing nothing. One day, while he is sitting on his veranda, he notices that cats come and go freely in his house. His mood changes and he begins to enjoy the cats as they run and play in his garden and his house. Life becomes interesting and we share in his daily happiness in this program.

故事發生在一名退休的鐵道員根本勲身上，年屆六十的根本辛勞了大半生，年輕時因為工作忽略了家庭。退休後，既沒嗜好，與家人的關係亦很疏離，終日只有留在家中無所事事。某日，當他在陽台上乘涼，突然有羣花貓闖進他的家，看著小花貓在家自由自在地嬉戲，他的生活亦因此漸漸起了變化…
