To repay her late grandfather's debt and save her children's circus troupe, ringmaster Wei Wei (Xu Jiao) accepts a golden baseball agent's invitation to join a baseball team in South Korea with her longtime pal – homerun-hitting gorilla Ling Ling. Thanks to its long trained circus skills, the ape, dubbed "Mr. Go," takes the South Korean baseball scene by storm and immediately becomes a fan and media favorite. Eyeing the gigantic prize money, Wei Wei and Ling Ling take to the final stage but their plans are shattered by Ling Ling's worsening knee problem and a strong rival team that brings in an unexpected player of their own.
