Synopsis：
In this good-cop-versus-bad-gangster action thriller, Detective Chan (Simon Yam) relentlessly pursues crime boss Po (Sammo Hung), but eventually gives up in frustration and looks toward retirement. His replacement, Ma (Donnie Yen) is a principled, committed cop who is skilled in martial arts and has a reputation for violence. The newcomer introduces tension into the established ranks of the battle-scarred precinct. The death of a cop who was planted undercover in Po’s gang further disrupts the balance of truth and justice.

有財有勢的主犯寶爺（洪金寶）一直巧妙地逃避法律制裁，高級督察陳國忠（任達華）即使面對革職，也誓要把他繩之以法。與此同時，武術高手馬軍（甄子丹）即將接手指揮重案組。然而，在一個特別的節日——父親節，一場腥風雨的江湖對峙在黑白兩道之中一觸即發。
「殺破狼」指「七殺」、「破軍」、「貪狼」三大煞星，出自紫微斗數，最早見於易經。命盤中若有七殺、破軍、貪狼其中一星，則分別代表有毀滅、鬥爭或貪婪其中一種性格。當天上殺破狼三星同宮並連成一線，地上便會有不尋常的事發生。
Undercover cop Kit (Wu Jing) becomes a junkie in order to catch Mr Hung (Louis Koo), the mastermind behind a crime syndicate. When the operation goes sour and Kit blows his cover, his supervisor and uncle Wah (Simon Yam) decides to terminate the operation. When Kit disappears without a trace, Wah defies the order from his commanding officer and tracks Kit to a prison in Thailand.
Thai Police officer Chai (Tony Jaa) becomes a prison guard in order to raise money for his daughter who has leukemia. He’s assigned to keep an eye on Kit. Even though Chai and Kit are in opposing positions and they don’t speak a common language, Kit turns out to be a suitable bone marrow donor who can save Chai’s daughter. While Chai is determined to keep Kit alive, the warden (Zhang Jin) wants him dead to ensure the smooth operation of the prison, which is the front for Mr Hung’s organ trafficking business.
Mr Hung shows up in Thailand so he can use his younger brother’s (Jun Kung) heart in a heart transplant to save his own life. The stage is set for a showdown...

Hong Kong cop Lee (Louise Koo) goes on a search in Thailand for his missing daughter Chi (Hanna Chan). Thai Chinese police officer Chui Kit (Wu Yue) lets Lee join the investigation, having no idea that Lee is going to use the mass media to hunt for clues.
A short clip which accidentally filmed Chi's capture is uploaded to the police website, but subsequently deleted. Chui Kit and colleague Tak (Tony Jaa) tracks down the clip owner, but the evidence is destroyed before they can even stop it. The duo begins tracking the culprit. As they get closer to the truth, they realize that the case is far more complicated than expected, and the mastermind behind the scene is not someone they can deal with...
