Known for television dramas Dwelling Narrowness and Naked Wedding, director Teng Hua Tao adapts Bao Jing Jing's novel about a young woman's 33-day journey away from the pain of a broken heart. As he had done with his television dramas, Teng once again successfully captures the true attitudes and concerns of young Chinese urbanites, specifically towards the struggles of finding and maintaining a long-lasting romance.

27-year-old Huang Xiao Xian (Bai Bai He) thinks she's got it all: A steady job at a wedding planning firm, a loyal best friend, and an eight-year relationship that is surely heading towards marriage.
