Synopsis:

It stars Wong Tze Wah and Sammi Cheng in the lead roles. Set against the decline of the Tsim Sha Tsui nightclub scene in 2012, the story follows veteran nightclub manager Foon Gor, played by Wong Tze Wah, at the old-school East Sun Nightclub. He’s shocked when the new CEO turns out to be his sharp-tongued ex-wife, V Jie, played by Sammi Cheng. With his ex now his boss, the nightclub quickly becomes a battlefield. Their clashing management styles spark intense conflict, but they soon uncover a larger corporate conspiracy threatening to shut down East Sun. To save the club and the livelihoods of its hostesses, Foon Gor and V Jie set aside their differences and team up, using every trick in the book to fight back and reclaim dominance in Tsim Sha Tsui. While the film is a classic Hong Kong-style comedy on the surface, it uses the nightclub world as a metaphor for the struggles and loyalties of ordinary people caught in the tide of capital, blending laughter with a touch of melancholy.
